Broker Commissions Application

A global distributor and supplier of energy products and services needed to replace their complex and error-prone process of calculating commissions for their brokers.
The application built by Qubiz allows them to manage all commissions and fees a broker is entitled to and, based on the actual consumption and contract length of end clients, to calculate commissions and possible clawbacks/fines on a regular basis. This is available for all current and future companies in the
group, taking into consideration that all back-offices are differentand generally the broker contracts are very customised. The solution is complementary to the existing systems and doesn’t require changes to other applications already in use.
Flexibility is an important part. There is the possibility to define custom commissions for specific end-client contracts and handle end clients that don’t fit into the normal broker contract agreement.

A business energy supplier asked Qubiz to develop a solution to assist their employees in the daily business of both long term and short term energy trading. The solution handles consumer profiles, energy production and consumption prediction based on existing forecasting models.
Another solution we developed for them involves automating the supplier invoicing process by aggregating data from hundreds of thousands of connections, their annual usages and consumption profiles and combining that with contractual data and price propositions to generate a final average weighted price which is used for creating the final invoice to the supplier.

This can take place by allowing the permit holder to supply measurement data and by generating KPIs based on that data. This opens up the possibility to easily check whether a system adheres to the data limits or not.
Another solution we designed for them is an online service that their consultants & specialists can use to explore all relevant external and internal information related to thermal energy systems.
